Carrick-a-Rede
Carrick-a-Rede is a National Trust site and one of Ireland’s most popular attractions. There is a rope bridge connecting the mainland to a rocky island. The island is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is famous for interesting bird species and plants.
There is a tea room located on site and you can rent binoculars from the gate. There is also a children’s discovery trail which is aimed at children aged 8-14 and is a great way to get children interested in geography and nature.
It is recommended that you wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
