Derry

Derry (also known as Londonderry) is a city in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Derry is home to around 100,000 people and is commonly referred to as the Northern Irelands second city. The name of the city has been long disputed, unionists prefer to call the city Londonderry however nationalists call the city by its shorter name Derry. A compromise has been reached whereby the county is County Londonderry and the city is called Derry but not everyone has accepted this.
